SCENE 1 Mr. Hooper has many deliveries to make, but he loaned all his empty boxes to Big Bird and Grover. Over at Big Bird's nest, the two have made a building from the boxes, but can't agree whether to call it "Big Bird's Barber Shop" or "Grover's Garage." When Mr. Hooper comes by to reclaim his boxes, the two now debate over who will be the one to help bring them over. As they quarrel, Mr. Hooper sneaks out with some of his boxes.

After he leaves the cookie in her hands, Maria shuffles off to Hooper's to exchange the pieces for a whole cookie, thinking Cookie Monster won't know the difference.
