Shoemaker

Shoemaker is a test card-only creature class used to represent those who mend or make shoes and often other leather goods.

History

In 2024, Shoemaker was mentioned as a creature type on the Mystery Booster 2 test card Abbot of the Sacred Meeple. As part of the deliberately confusing rules of that card, it was juxtaposed with Cobbler, which is essentially the same craft.

Trivia

On regular Magic cards, a shoemaker would probably be typed as a Citizen (cf Goblin Maskmaker).
