Jin (진) is a character in Mix Master Online and Mix Master: King of Cards. Jin is a loner, and doesn't have many friends. Jin is 11 years old, and has been friends with Ditt since they were children.[1] He and Ditt aren't as close friends as Ditt is with the others, often arguing with him over Ditt's laziness, but when in trouble, Jin will help Ditt and friends. Jin treats Ditt as his rival, but they have become better friends over time. Jin is rational and is well versed in both literature and martial arts.[1] Jin's father is the mayor of Gamebridge, and he has a sister named Mira. He keeps a doll named Moppy in his closet.[2] Jin's Card Shuffler is shaped like a gun, like Ditt's.
Mix Master Online
Jin is one of the 4 playable classes in Mix Master Online. He is from Veherseba and is a fighter. Like the other classes, he graduated from the School of Mixers in Magirita. Jin has few friends, but "is faithful to those who are by his side." Jin is very quiet, preferring to let his fists speak for themselves.[3]
Mix Master: King of Cards
Jin is a main character on Mix Master: King of Cards. Jin lives in a large mansion with his father the mayor and his sister Mira. At first, Jin wanted nothing to do with Hench. But after an encounter with Chino, (and an inspiring speech from Dr. Joeb of all people) Jin decided to become a Mix Master.[4] However, Jin overworked his Henches and they ran away from him. Eventually, Jin learned to treat his Henches with respect and they came back to him. [5] Jin keeps a doll named Moppy in his closet. Jin's mother gave him Moppy before she died, and he says it's the only thing he cares about. Jin doesn't want anyone to know about Moppy, and only takes it out in private. Jin has very strong opinions about things, calling Shadow a criminal, even if he gave what he stole to the poor. [6] Jin did not appear in Final Force.
Relationships
Ditt Lee
Jin considers Ditt his rival, and argues with him over his laziness.
Penril
Jin seems to treat Penril like he treats most people, (with mild contempt) but he does seem to rescue her more often than the others. It is unclear if this implies anything or if it is just coincidence.
Dr. Joeb
Jin is mostly annoyed by Dr. Joeb, unamused by his antics. When Dr. Joeb first tried to convince Jin to become a Mix Master, he responded by throwing Joeb out of his house. [7]
Mayor Charles
JIn is embarrassed by his father. When "asked" by his dad to help guard a statue of himself, Jin refused, but was forced into doing it anyways. [8] Jin is particularly annoyed by his father's pompous behavior.
Mira
Jin cares about Mira more than he does most people, protecting her when she's in trouble.
Trivia
- During development of Mix Master: King of Cards, Jin had a different design and was said to be spoiled.[9]
