Hench are the main creatures in the Mix Master series. They hail from the world of Atreia and come in many different shapes, colors and sizes. There are 850 in total and come in 8 different classes; Dragon, Beast, Insect, Metal, Mystery, Devil, Bird and Plant. Henches in their world have various roles in the ecosystem, much like real animals. For example, Weims (known as Rabbos in Mix Master Online) are industrious henches, comparable to beavers.[1] In the Mix Master animes, if one befriends a Hench while having a Card Shuffler, the Hench will turn into a card and enter your Card Shuffler. Henches can be combined to form another Hench, if their classes are compatible. Henches have to do whatever their owners say, but can get tired and can escape if they're being overworked. [2]
