About the Warrior
The Warrior (Japanese:せんし; Senshi) is a job in Miitopia that focuses on single-target damage and party defense. For their equipment, their weapon of choice are Swords and their clothing consists of Armors.
Warrior is a simple, yet effective job, they have high health, attack power, and defense (though they lose the number 1 slots to Pop Star, Tank, and Chef). Their drawbacks consist of sharing the lowest MP with Tanks, and being the slowest besides the aforementioned Job. Their low MP can be mostly circumvented with grub bonuses.
Their skills focus on dealing increased damage, and hitting more enemies, but they also have three skills that focus on defending the party.
Jump Slash is a basic skill, dealing high damage towards one enemy. It's a basic move that becomes outclassed over time. The AI will use this most chances it gets, especially on bosses, though it will start using Double Slash once learned. The AI will still rarely use Jump Slash when the enemy is weak enough for the move to kill.
Proud Protector allows the Warrior to become a damage sponge until they can next act. They will take reduced damage if hit by physical attacks (or attacks like a Mole's rock throw), and will take this reduced damage in place of a friend if one is attacked. They will not protect resented allies however, and may also refuse to cover if Cool's Shan't activates. Repeated use of this move serves as a huge increase in party survivability, especially when the healing provided on relationship level ups is considered. The AI will always use this skill when a party member is in critical condition.
Snap Out of it is another skill that supports the party. Snap Out of it will cure a teammate's status condition, and has a 50% chance of activating. Due to the Player having to confirm their turn even when under a status, they can use the Safe Spot if Snap Out of it doesn't activate on them. Snap Out of it cures Laughter, Crying, Cranky, Spite, Afraid, Vacant, Nightmare, Anxious, and Dancing. Hyper, Sleeping, Angry, and Gleeful, are all treated as positive status effects.

Trivia
- Warrior Stats
- Warrior Equipment
- Each version of the Warrior's Armor uses two distinct models. The first model (first used for the Squire's Armor) has a helm with a visor and a plume, that sits on top of the Warrior's head. The second model (first used for the Polka-Dot Armor) has a horned helm which includes a cowl, wrapping around the Warrior's head, leaving no hair visible. The Legendary Armor uses the second model.
- The Utility Sword and the Adventure Armor resemble the outfits worn in the anime Attack on Titan.
- The Light Sword is a close reference to the lightsabers in Star Wars, the main weapon that the Jedi and Sith use.
- The helmet for the Neon Armor will still expose the wearer's hair despite using the headgear model. This is because the headpiece is coded as a "Hat" type instead of "HeadGear" that other headpieces of this model use.
- The Magical Armor resembles Sheikah Technology from The Legend of Zelda. Usually they have a light blue glow and eyes, very similar to the Magical Armor.
- The Steel Sword has a resemblance to The Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda. It also resembles Biggoron's Sword from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
- The Chopper Sword resembles Ganondorf's sword in The Legend of Zelda Spaceworld 2000 tech demo. It also looks very similar to the Lynel Sword.
- The Hero Sword Is based on the Ultima Weapon from the Final Fantasy series, specifically, its appearance in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII.
- The Steel Armor, especially when colored red, resembles the armor of the Black Knight from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.
- Unlike other jobs that have 30 different pieces of clothing, Warrior's have 31 sets making it have the second most clothing of all jobs, beaten only by the Pop Star with 32, due to the male and female variants.
- Attacks & Skills
- Snap Out of It and Super Snap Out of It are called Slap and Miracle Slap in the EU version, respectively.
- If a Warrior uses Snap Out of It, a male Warrior will say, "Snap out of it!" while a female warrior will say, "Keep it together!"
- A Warrior using Snap Out of It on an ally that the Warrior has a quarrel against will cause the affected to be knocked backwards (like when taking damage from the Distracted quarrel) instead of flinching in place.
- Darkeye Slash uses the same Eye as the Face Steal move that the Dark Lord does.
- If a Warrior uses any skill and does reduced damage, the player can hear a metal clang after attacking an enemy.
- If a Warrior uses Proud Protector and is about to be attacked by any Scorpion which makes the message, "Sayonara!" pop up, they still will not be able to survive the attack.
- Other
- In the Casting Call, there is a unique Skill that is never seen in the Final Game. It has a similar effect of Super Spin Slash and more dramatic motion of Darkeye Slash.
- In promotional materials from Nintendo of Europe gives the character used in the Warrior's official artwork the following name:
- The warrior is named "Eric" in NOE material, but also named "Demetrius" in Nintendo of America's promotional material. Additionally, the official QR Code of the character provided in the now closed Miitopia for Nintendo 3DS Website simply gives him the name "boy". Both regions, however, describe the character as the idea of the player's own Mii. These same promotional artworks shows Emma the Mage as being his sister along other Official Mii Characters being related to him in different ways such as being his relatives or people from his class.
- The Nintendo Switch version of the game also includes the character as the default Mii for the Lax Soldier, albeit with a lighter skin tone, a different body build and the name “Bernie”. Eric's eyebrows settings is different respect Bernie's and even in the artworks where he appears respect to his QR Code data.
- Comparing the data provided by the Eric's QR Code and Bernie's Data from the game files of the Nintendo Switch version, these are their body builds: Eric: Height: 33/127 Weight: 100/127 Bernie: 21/127 and 74/127
- In NOA's material, the character is also displayed as Laid-back, hiding behind the character used in the Cat's official artwork.
- Official footages/videos of the European region show him as being Cool, Energetic and Laid-back as well. This is possible to know by checking his behaviour in battle and listening his voice in the clips.
