Denmark is a region of the European continent on the planet Earth, with political boundaries that were created as the area's long-standing status as a nation-state. (VOY episode: "Heroes and Demons"; VOY comic: "Repercussions")

History

The epic poem Beowulf took place in Denmark in the 6th century. (VOY episode: "Heroes and Demons")

Several important scientific discoveries were made in Denmark. For example, several elements had been discovered or created there. (ST reference: Star Fleet Medical Reference Manual)

Alternate realities

In an alternate timeline accidentally created by Leonard McCoy saving Edith Keeler's life in March 1930, prior to 1944 Nazi Germany captured France, then Czechoslovakia, Poland, and Denmark. (TOS - Crucible novel: Provenance of Shadows)

In 1992 of the Kelvin timeline, Denmark was annexed into the European Territories by Augment John Ericssen, and by 1996 became part of Pax Europa before Ericssen was overthrown. (TOS - Khan comics: "Issue 2", "Issue 3")
