Waltriot (ウォートリオット Wōtoriotto) is an enemy from Mega Man 10 that appears in Solar Man's Stage, Wily Stage 1 and Special Stage 3. On Hard Mode they also appear in Blade Man's Stage, Nitro Man's Stage, Commando Man's Stage, and Wily Stage 3.
Description
Waltriot is a small machine enemy with wheels that can go on any surface, including walls and ceilings that act like Flower Presenters from Mega Man 9. They occasionally stop to fire a slow homing missile at Mega Man that go in 9 directions and can be destroyed by Mega Man in one hit. The missile cannot be destroyed while in the Waltriot, as it will just count for damage on the Waltriot itself. Triple Blade is obviously a good weapon to use against it for its wide hit range and power, but Solar Blaze and Chill Spike are good alternatives as well.
Etymology
Its name is possibly a combination of the words, "wall" and "Patriot missile".
