Zipper is Waluigi's unlockable Exclusive Kart in Mario Kart DS.
Description
The Zipper resembles a three-wheeled chopper motorcycle. Notably, this is the first bike in the Mario Kart series, but it does not have the same abilities as the bikes used in Mario Kart Wii.
In Mario Kart DS
It is unlocked when either the player completes all cups in the 100cc Retro Grand Prix to unlock Waluigi, or when the player completes all cups in the 150cc Nitro or Retro Grand Prix. By thie latter method, Toad and Wario can use the Zipper, just like how they can use Mario's Shooting Star. All other characters can use this kart once all cups in Mirror Mode have been completed.
The Zipper has all-round average and balanced stats, with the exception of Items, which have an excellent stat. It shares its speed with Luigi's Streamliner, and it shares its handling and drift with Mario's B Dasher. It shares its items stat with all other characters' heavier karts.
The Zipper is used with Waluigi as the Staff Ghost for SNES Choco Island 2.
