Egg Toss is a minigame in Yoshi's Island DS.
Gameplay
The player takes control of a Yoshi, who has to shoot eggs at targets floating above them. There are Egg Blocks that the Yoshi can use to refill his supply of eggs.
Egg Toss has an Easy Mode and a Hard Mode, which can be unlocked by collecting all seven character coins. In Easy Mode, Yoshi has thirty seconds to hit seven targets, while a few Goonies try to interfere with him. In Hard Mode, Egg Toss's time limit was doubled to sixty seconds, or a minute, but what adds to the difficulty are the many Piranha Plants, more Goonies, a Tap-Tap, and two more targets for Yoshi to destroy.
Once every target is destroyed, the minigame ends, and Yoshi is awarded a number of 1-Ups, with more being rewarded if he has managed to destroy every target sooner.
