Dark Star X

Dark Star X is the sixth boss class of The Gauntlet appearing in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and its remake Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey.

Profile

The Dark Star X keeps the same physical appearance as the Dark Star, but like most X bosses in the game, it has a different color palette. However, it is the only X boss that has completely different color palette between games. In the original game, the Dark Star X is colored red with blue eyes. In the remake, its color palette changes to a pale yellow color with lavender eyes.

The Dark Star X shares the same malevolent powers as the Dark Star, only being much more stronger than before. Some of its attack patterns, however, are much faster and tougher to counter, for example, the Kamikaze attack involving his Dark Satellmite X's.

The Dark Star X can be battled for 2,500 coins. It is also the second-strongest boss within the entire game, only losing to Bowser X.
