Bunmawashi Dolls are an enemy in Yoshi's Crafted World. They are only seen in Be Afraid of the Dark.
Profile
Physical description
Bunmawashi Dolls are yarn, clown-like dolls that carry an axe around. Their heads are white with beady black eyes, brown hair sticking out of each side, a bulbous pink nose, and green feet.
Behavior
A Bunmawashi Doll constantly walks around with its hands drooped, sometimes looking around if the Yoshi is nearby when it is idle. When the Bunmawashi Doll notices Yoshi, it screeches and then quickly runs toward Yoshi, whom it tries to chop with its axe. A Bunmawashi Doll can sometimes appear if Yoshi activates a Winged Cloud.
Bunmawashi Dolls are vulnerable to light, although it can only stun them for a few seconds. Bunmawashi Dolls cannot be defeated through any means.
In Yoshi's Crafted World
A Bunmawashi Doll is only encountered in the level Be Afraid of the Dark. If a Yoshi does get hit by a Bunmawashi Doll, he takes a lot of damage. A Yoshi can avoid a Bunmawashi Doll if he jumps up to a high enough area out of their own reach. Bunmawashi Dolls cannot go off ledges, so being on a lower platform can help avoid their attacks. They can also destroy crates with their axes.
