Bonus Bells are an object in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.
Description
A Bonus Bell hangs at the top of a goal, and reaching it requires the use of platforms. Hitting a Bonus Bell before exiting the level via the goal is optional, but when Mario rings this bell, he plays a bonus game where he can get power-ups or extra lives before leaving the stage.
Overall, Bonus Bells act as the successor to the higher door of a goal from Super Mario Land.
