Physical description
A Bear has the appearance of a short teddy bear, and it can always be seen riding around on a Beach Ball.
Behavior
A Bear uses its Beach Ball to safely travel around on spike-covered surfaces.
In Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins
Bears only appear in Mario the Circus Star!. Mario can defeat a Bear by either stomping it or throwing a fireball at it as Fire Mario. Once a Bear has been defeated, Mario can use its Beach Ball to safely travel across the spikes on the floor and reach certain areas that are otherwise inaccessible.
