Dervorin was the son of the (unnamed) Lord of Imlad-Ringló.
Biography
Dervorin assisted in the War of the Ring by marching three hundred men to protect the city of Minas Tirith prior to it being besieged by the armies of Mordor. He came on foot into Minas Tirith unlike most others, who came on horseback. Pippin and Bergil saw Dervorin come in along with all the other lords who aided Minas Tirith. However, Dervorin, as well as all the other lords, came with too few men to ensure a real victory for Gondor. It is possible that he survived the battles he fought in, as he is not mentioned in the Song of the Mounds of Mundburg.[1]
In adaptations

In The Lord of the Rings Online, Dervorin is the eldest son of Borhador, the Lord of Imlad-Ringló, who is now very old and rarely leaves his halls in Ethring. After Dervorin takes his soldiers to the defence of the White City, his younger brother Arvaethor stays behind to lead the rest of their people and defend them against the Orc attacks. The player first hears of Dervorin second-hand from his family and after finding him in Minas Tirith before the attack delivers to him the news of his home, which raises his spirit. Dervorin fights on the walls of the First Circle during the siege and is not seen again after the battle is over.
