Tazama is a lioness who lives in the Pride Lands. She took Anga's place as Vitani's Lion Guard's Keenest of Sight. She makes her debut in Return to the Pride Lands.
Appearance
Tazama has grayish, slightly brown fur, with light gray paws, underbelly, and muzzle. Her nose is pink and pointed, and she has bright greenish-blue eyes, gray eye rims and black eyebrows. She has little brown spots under her eyes and on the bridge of her snout. The ear rims along the top of her ears are dark brown, with lighter brown rims along the sides, and her inner ears are - unlike most lions - the same shade of grey as her main fur colour.
Personality
Tazama doesn’t seem to fight when the Guard is in battle, usually staying back in order to guide her friends so they don’t end up in serious danger. She is cunning, often using situations to her advantage, such as when she chooses very dark caverns for her trial against Anga as she can see in the dark. She is a good team player, always supporting and assisting her teammates.
History
Prior to The Lion Guard
Tazama, along with the rest of her pride, lived in exile in the Outlands as punishment from Simba for their loyalty to Scar. When the pride's leader, Zira, lead an attack on the Pride Lands, the battle was stopped by Kovu and Kiara, who convinced both sides not to harm one another. As a result, Tazama, along with the rest of Zira's pride had surrendered and joined Simba's pride. At some point after that, Tazama had been chosen by Zira's daughter Vitani, to be her Lion Guard's Keenest of Sight.
Return to the Pride Lands
Kion's Guard, Janja's Clan, Jasiri's Clan, Azaad, and Mzingo's Parliament confront Vitani's Guard. Tazama is instructed to keep watch, and she advises Kasi to climb a tree to escape Fuli. She is then attacked by Mzingo and his vultures and the fighting goes on
