Lee Hi

Lee Hi (이하이), born as Lee Ha-yi on September 28, 1996 is a South Korean soloist currently under AOMG. She was born in Bucheon, South Korea. Lee Hi was best known as a runner up on Kpop Star 1. She debuted in solo with the single 1, 2, 3, 4 on October 8, 2012 with her music video. She was a member of the duo Hi Suhyun and a former member of the cancelled girl group SuPearls.

Career

2011: K-Pop Star contestant

In December 2011, she participated in the SBS survival program K-pop Star, where she finished as runner-up and was subsequently signed to YG Entertainment.

2012–2019: Solo debut, departure from YGE

She made her solo debut on October 29, 2012 with the digital single "1,2,3,4".

In 2014, She also formed a duo named HI SUHYUN with Akdong’s musician Suhyun and debuted with the song “I’m Different”. [1]

On December 31, 2019, she announced her departure from YG Entertainment.[2]

2020: New agency under AOMG

On July 23, 2020, she was introduced as a new artist of AOMG.[3]
