Yuju (aoen)

Yuju (Korean: 유주 ; Japanese: 優樹) is a Japanese singer, actor and trainee under YX LABELS. He placed first on the reality survival show Oen-High, making him a member of the debut lineup of the upcoming boy group aoen. He is a former member of the Japanese boy group VOYZ BOY and pre-debut boy group 24kumi.

Career

2019-2021: VOYZ BOY, acting debut

Yuju became a member of the Japanese boy group VOYZ BOY.

In November 2020, Yuju was announced to be a cast member of the upcoming stage adaptation of the manga "1518! Ichi Go Ichi Hachi!".^[1] He did his stage debut on February 17, 2021.^[2]

On November 30, 2021, he graduated from VOYZ BOY.^[3]

2023-2025: 24kumi, Oen-High

On December 24, 2023, Yuju was announced as a member of 24kumi, the upcoming boy group under HYBE Labels Japan (now known as YX LABELS).^[4] However, the group disbanded in early 2025.

On February 2, 2025, Yuju was announced as one of the 11 participants of the audition program titled Oen-High.^[5] During the show's finale, he was revealed to have ranked 2nd overall, thus making him a part of the debut lineup of aoen.
