YEL (singer)

YEL (옐), also known as Hyemi (혜미), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and vocal coach under COSMIK RAIDERS and Bomnal Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group FIESTAR.

She made her solo debut on May 25, 2018 with the digital single "Lucid Dream".

Career

2012–2018: FIESTAR

She debuted as a member of FIESTAR on August 31, 2012 with the group's first single album "Vista".

On May 15, 2018, it was announced that following the expiration of the members' contracts, FIESTAR would disband after six years of activities.[1]

2018: Solo debut with "Lucid Dream"

Now using the stage name YEL, she made her solo debut on May 25, 2018 with the digital single "Lucid Dream".

2024–present: FIESTAR's reformation, signing with Bomnal Entertainment

On August 31, 2024, FIESTAR reunited to celebrate their twelfth anniversary with Cao Lu having funded their comeback and subsequent activities.[2]

On April 1, 2025, Cao Lu shared that FIESTAR, as a group, had signed an exclusive contract with Bomnal Entertainment aiming to promote in both South Korea and mainland China.

On September 3, 2024, YEL annouced that she will be getting married to her non-celebrity boyfriend in October.[3] It was earlier reported the wedding will take place on October 27 and that her fiancé is a businessman and producer.[4]
