TWS (투어스; pronounced as "two us") is a six-member boy group under Pledis Entertainment. They made their debut on January 22, 2024 with the mini album Sparkling Blue.
Their name stands for "Twenty Four Seven With Us."
History
Pre-debut
On November 10, 2022, HYBE announced through its briefing that their sub-label, Pledis Entertainment will be debuting a new boy group sometime in 2023.[2] During the 2023 SVT 7th Fan Meeting 'SEVENTEEN in Carat Land' on March 12, 2023, SEVENTEEN member Hoshi introduced five trainees among the crowd as the members of the label's upcoming group.[3] On November 7, Pledis confirmed that the group will be debuting in the first quarter of 2024.[4]
On December 21, 2023, the group launched their social media accounts and dropped their first debut teaser.[5] The following day, Pledis Entertainment announced that the group would consist of six members and would be making their debut in January 2024.[6]
2024: Debut with Sparkling Blue, fanclub name, Summer Beat!, "Last Bell"
On December 27, 2023, it was announced that the group will release their debut mini album Sparkling Blue on January 22.[7] A pre-release single, "Oh Mymy : 7s", was released on January 2.
The six members were introduced through a group profile video released on January 3, and individual videos released on January 4.[8]
On April 2, 2024, Pledis Entertainment announced that TWS' official fanclub name has been decided. It was revealed to be 42 (SAI), which refers to fans who are with TWS 24/7 and who have the most special relationship with them.[1]
On May 3, Pledis Entertainment announced that the group is preparing for their first-ever comeback in June and that the music video is currently being filmed in Hong Kong. They will release a pre-release single early in the month ahead of the comeback.[9] On May 23, TWS announced that they will be having their comeback on June 24. The title for their second mini album, Summer Beat!, was announced on May 27.[10] "Hey! Hey!" was pre-released on June 5.
On October 10, Pledis Entertainment confirmed that TWS will be making their comeback in November.[11] On November 4, TWS announced their first single album "Last Bell", set for release on November 25.[12]
2025: Try With Us
On February 21, 2025, it was reported that TWS will be having a comeback in April.[13] On March 24, TWS announced their third mini album, Try With Us, set to be released on April 21.[14]
