Sun Ying Hao (순잉하오) is a Chinese singer under Laoyu Vision Company. He is a former member of the project boy group IXFORM.
He made his solo debut on February 15, 2023 with the digital single "You Are You".
He is best known for being a contestant on the survival shows Youth With You 3 and Starlight Boys.
Career
2020-2022: Youth With You 3, IXFORM
In late 2020, it was confirmed that Sun Ying Hao would be participating in the survival show, Youth With You 3. He was announced as one of the show's finalists, ranking 5th by the semi-finals.[1]. However, the show's finale was never aired due to orders by the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau.[2].
In July 2021, two months after the show's cancellation, it was officially announced that 9 chosen trainees would debut as IXFORM, which Sun Ying Hao was a part of. The group debuted on November 5, 2021. They were active for just over a year before being disbanded on November 8, 2022.[3]
2024: Starlight Boys
On September 29, 2024, Sun Ying Hao was introduced as a contestant on the Chinese-South Korean survival show Starlight Boys.[4]
On December 15, the profile board for Starlight Boys on iQIYI revealed that Ying Hao is among the trainees that have recently withdrawn from the competition.[5]
2025: Tidal Locking
On January 26, 2025, it was announced that Sun Ying Hao would be going on tour titled "Tidal Locking", which would start on March 1, 2025 in Huangzhou, China.[6]
