Rayeon (나연), also known as Lee Rayeon (이나연), is a South Korean singer under Leaders Entertainment. She is a former member of the girl group FANATICS.
She is also known for participating in Mnet's reality survival show Girls Planet 999.
Career
2020–2021: FANATICS, Girls Planet 999
On April 13, 2020, she, alongside Via, were introduced as the two newest members of FANATICS.[1] She made her official debut as a member on May 4 with the group's second mini album Plus Two.
On July 7, 2021, Rayeon was confirmed as a contestant on Mnet's newest reality show, Girls Planet 999, along with the other participating trainees, through the prologue trailer.[2] Her official profile was released on July 17.[3][4] The show began airing on August 6. In the fifth episode, which was aired on September 3, it was revealed that Rayeon, along with her cellmates, was unfortunately eliminated.[5]
2023: Leaders Entertainment
On November 17, 2023, Leaders Entertainment announced that Rayeon has signed with them as an entertainer.[6]
2025: C-Global Entertainment
On March 26, 2025, Vietnamese company C-Global Entertainment announced that Rayeon had signed an exclusive contract with them as an artist for activities in Vietnam and globally.[7]
Personal life
Education
Rayeon lived in Guangzhou, China for 10 years between the ages of 5 and 15 during which she attended American International School of Guangzhou.[8]
