FANATICS (파나틱스) was a six-member girl group under FENT. They debuted on August 6, 2019 with the their first mini album The Six.
The group presumably disbanded sometime in 2023 due to inactivity.
History
2018: FLAVOR
On November 26, FANATICS debuted their first sub-unit, FLAVOR, consisting of members Yoonhye, Chiayi and Doah with single album "Milkshake".
2019: The Six
On July 19, FENT revealed the group's new logo and announced that they would officially debut on August 6 with the mini album The Six.[1]
2020: Plus Two
On April 12, a comeback scheduler for the group's upcoming mini album titled Plus Two was released. For the mini, two new members were introduced: Rayeon and Via. Meanwhile, Yoonhye and Chaelin would be taking a break from group activities.[2]
2021: Comeback with "Starry Night", Girls Planet 999 participation, and Sika's Departure
On May 10, the group came back with their first digital single "Starry Night".
On July 10, it was confirmed that Chiayi, Rayeon and Doah would be participating in Mnet's reality survival show Girls Planet 999.[3] Rayeon was eliminated from the show during the first elimination round in episode 5,[4] Meanwhile, Chiayi and Doah both departed from the show in the second elimination round in episode 8.[5]
On September 24, Sika announced her departure from the group.[6] FANATICS' official YouTube channel also removed all of Sika's videos and teasers.
2022: Chaelin's departure and cancelled comeback
In March 2022, Chaelin was removed from FANATICS' YouTube description along with her playlist. This presumably confirms that she departed from the group.
In October, Doah removed FENT from her socials.
On November 24, Chiayi and Doi were interviewed by Oninews - X Super Idol in Taiwan, where they stated that FANATICS hadn't disbanded and that all six members were preparing for a comeback as soon as they wrap up their current individual activities.[7] However, the comeback never materialized.
2023: Disbandment
Since early 2023, the group has been inactive and was assumed to have disbanded.
