Mia (EVERGLOW)

Mia (Korean: 미아; Japanese: ミア) is a South Korean singer and rapper under Yue Hua Entertainment. She is the main vocalist and main dancer of the girl group EVERGLOW.

Early Life

She attended Jinyeong Geumbyeong Elementary School and Jinyeong Middle School, and later graduated from Korea Arts High School with a Theater and Film major.[citation needed]

Career

2019: Debut with EVERGLOW

On February 19, 2019, Mia was officially revealed as the second member of EVERGLOW.[2] The group debuted on March 18 with the single album "Arrival of EVERGLOW".

  • The stage name 'Mia' means "beautiful child".[3]
  • Her nicknames include Han Eunji, Maneunji, Mya, Han Mia, and Miji.[4]
  • Mia's favorite Greek goddess is Athena.[5]
  • She has many role models: Ailee, BoA, Lee Hyori, and Park Hyoshin.[4]
  • She doesn't like hospitals or anything associated with them (injections, certain medicines, etc.)[4]
  • Mia's charm points are her Satoori accent and low-toned voice.[4]

  • She is the only Korean member of EVERGLOW who was not born in Gyeonggi-do (since she was born in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do) and because of this, she has a strong accent (satoori) that is easily recognized by fans.[1]
