Jin Young (진영), formerly known as Xia (시아), is a South Korean singer and model. She is a former member of the girl groups RaNia and Ela8te.
Career
2011-2016: RaNia and Ela8te
On April 6, 2011, she debuted as a member of RaNia in the group's original lineup with their first digital single "Teddy Riley, The First Expansion In Asia".
On April 26, 2016, it was revealed that Xia decided not to renew her contract with DR Music after its expiration a month prior, thus leaving RaNia.[1] On the same day, it was announced Xia, Di, and T-ae were set to debut in a new group called Ela8te.[1] However, the group never formally debuted due to the three members' undisclosed contracts with DR Music that did not expire until later that year which made Ela8te unabled to debut under their new agency.
