How? (stylized in all-caps) is the second EP by BOYNEXTDOOR. It was released on April 15, 2024 with "Earth, Wind & Fire" serving as the album's title track.
The physical album comes in eleven versions: Earth, Wind, Fire, six individual Sticker versions, KiT, and Weverse Albums.
Background
On February 13, 2024, KOZ Entertainment announced that the group is in the final stage of preparations for an April comeback.[1] On March 18, the group released a trailer for their second EP How? which will be released on April 15.[2]
Commercial performance
According to Hanteo Chart, How? sold 390,709 copies on the first day of its release, breaking their previous record. As of April 16, the album surpassed 400,000 sales.[3] How? sold 531,911 copies in its first week of release, breaking their previous record.[4]
How? reached #1 on the iTunes Top Albums charts in five different countries, while "Earth, Wind & Fire" debuted at #89 on the Melon's Top 100 before peaking at #63.[3]
How? debuted at #93 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.[5]
How? was ranked #60 on the 2024 Billboard Japan's Hot Album Year End chart.[6]
