Changjo (창조) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actor under Beat Interactive. He is a member of the boy group TEEN TOP.
He made his solo debut on November 16, 2019 with the digital single "Never Anything".
Career
2010: Debut with TEEN TOP
On July 9, 2010, Changjo made his debut as a member of the group TEEN TOP with the release of their single album "Come Into The World".
2019–2022: Solo debut and departure from TOP Media
On November 16, 2019, Changjo released his first solo digital single "Never Anything".
On December 28, 2021, TOP Media announced that Changjo would not be renewing his contract with them starting from January 10, 2022, although he will still be a member of TEEN TOP.[1]
On January 24, 2022, it was announced that Changjo and Niel would be holding a Friends Fan-Con called "Missing You" on February 26.[2]
2023: New agency
On June 7, 2023, Beat Interactive announced that Changjo has signed an exclusive contract with them.[3]
Personal life
Military service
On October 24, 2023, Beat Interactive released a statement which announced that Changjo would be the last member of TEEN TOP to enlist in the military, and is set to enlist in the military band on November 20. He is expected to be discharged on May 19, 2025.[4]
