Skud is an exploding enemy in the Kirby series that only appears in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Skud makes its first appearance on Pop Star.
Physical Appearance
Skud looks like a white rocket with a red top and feet and a happy face (not to be confused with Bang-Bang or Pedo). When it launches, its eyes and mouth disappear and its feet become wings. Skud somewhat resembles Tick.
Games
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
When Kirby comes near it, Skud launches itself upward and sails through the air toward him and plummets in his direction with poor aim. Skud grants the Bomb ability when inhaled.
Etymology
Skud's name is a reference to the Scud missiles developed by the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
Trivia
- Bang-Bang’s movement and attack pattern are almost exactly derived from Skud.
