Maiga

Maiga is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby: Squeak Squad. It cannot be inhaled.

Physical Appearance

Maiga resembles a green blob of slime. It has beady eyes and small ear-like protrusions on top of its head.

Kirby: Squeak Squad

Maiga slowly bounces around the stage, occasionally leaping toward Kirby. Inhaling Maiga is ineffective; as a result, the enemy will stick to Kirby's face, dealing him damage. Since Maiga can't be attacked this way, Kirby cannot acquire a Copy Ability from it. Furthermore, even when defeated with the Bubble ability, it won't yield a Copy Ability, as it will turn into a star bubble. However, Kirby can use the Throw ability to suck it up and toss it.

Maiga appears in Kirby: Triple Deluxe as a keychain.
