Gaw Gaw is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby: Squeak Squad. It yields the Animal ability when inhaled.

Physical Appearance

Gaw Gaw is a brown Wolf like creature. It has two mole-like claws on each of it's hands, pointy ears, and a tiny black nose (blue in-game). Its muzzle and the top of its hands are tan. It has two visible toes on its tan colored feet. Its eyes are always closed. Gaw Gaw appears to be related to Gao Gao, a mid-boss.

Gaw Gaw first appears in Stage 3 of Prism Plains. If Gaw Gaw sees Kirby, it will jump at and bite him. Sometimes, it will jump in place without going after him.

Etymology

Gaw Gaw (ガウガウ) is a Japanese onomatopoeia for the noise that wolves make.
