A Copy Food is an item in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Dream Buffet.
Games
Copy Foods are foods that yield different Copy Food Abilities when eaten. They are most often contained inside Food Boxes, and are revealed when Kirbys roll into them. Others are out in the open atop round bases, while some are gifted to the player via roulette in the Battle Royale mode. A Kirby can carry up to three Copy Foods at a time and activate them with the R or ZR Buttons; once a Kirby has any number of Copy Foods in his possession, Food Boxes will only give him three strawberries until his inventory is spent. In the Battle Royale mode, getting KO'd causes that Kirby to lose all held Copy Foods.
