Luna (ルナ, Runa) is a childhood friend of Touma Kamiyama and Kento Fukamiya from Wonder World who was "lost" prior to the series' events. She returned to the prime dimension and gained an adult form to help the team fight Storious.
History
Background
Luna is the true manifestation of Wonder World and is believed to be the reincarnation of the Priestess who brought the five explorers to Wonder World. She surfaced fifteen years ago after meeting a young Touma Kamiyama, had chosen him to as future Guardian of Wonder World. Together, they became friends with Kento Fukamiya where they'd sit under a tree and read books together.
One day, Touma stormed off after an argument with her. However, Kamen Rider Calibur abducted Luna so he could use her in a ritual to reach the Almighty Book. When confronted by Daichi Kamijo, she is stated to be the link between Earth and Wonder World. As Luna is sucked into a vortex, Touma lost his grip of her hand but promised her that he would find her again.
The Mysterious Girl
While the fateful battle between the Sword of Logos and the Megid resulted in Touma losing memories of the events, he could still remember fragments of his childhood with Luna and Kento in his dreams. Although he would recunite with Kento fifteen years later, Touma would remember Luna after hearing her name and regain the majority of his childhood memories. A voice of Luna would later help Touma to access Dragonic Knight, which Kento had also heard. This gives Touma and Kento hope that she might still be alive.
An apparition of Luna would later appear in Touma's dream shortly after his rampage as Primitive Dragon, telling Touma to help the child within the book. After Touma gained full control over Primitive Dragon, Tassel warned Touma to immediately locate with Luna to prevent a bad future from occurring.
Reuniting With Her Friends
During Touma and Kento's fight against Master Logos, the clash between four Seikens caused Kaenken Rekka to open a portal into a void where Luna had been imprisoned for the last fifteen years. Touma rushed off to the portal to reach out to her, with Luna doing the same. However, before the former reached her, the portal was closed, but it managed to give Touma a confirmation that Luna is indeed alive.
Later on, Touma would have a spar with Yuri in order to recreate the circumstances that lead to the portal being opened. Though unsuccessful at first, Bahato's sudden scuffle led to the portal being opened. Touma and Luna tried to reach out for each other, but like with last time, he couldn't reach out to her again. Touma and Kento would later battle Bahato with Touma resolving to save Luna. This time, however, Luna simply walked out on from the void, leaving everyone surprised.
When Master Logos had wanted to bring the Almighty Book, he used Luna as a sacrifice in a ritual to summon the Almighty Book. Deciding to not make the same mistake again, Touma reaches to Luna and foils the ritual. However, Master Logos is able to obtain a portion of the Almighty Book and transform into Kamen Rider Solomon, who prove to be a formidable adversary. Despite this victory, Luna told Touma that he would need to save the world before disappearing again.
Facing Despair and Growing Up
Luna began to resurface after Haouken Xross Saber's creation and had caught Tassel's attention. When she met with him, Tassel revealed to Luna that she is the manifestation of Wonder World itself. She was protected by Tassel when Kamen Rider Solomon was on pursuit on her. However, Luna left Tassel's residence and personally returned back to Earth. While she met with Mei Sudo, Luna would later go off on her own.
Luna appeared to Touma and Kento at the same tree where they used to play. While her friends started to perform a skit to make a distressed Luna feel happy, she joins with them as she is transformed into an adult form. Luna confides her anxieties upon learning Touma had to be sacrificed to save the world, but is confronted by Touma and Kento. Luna also comforted Touma, who apologizes not being able to save her fifteen years ago. Then, as Storious began to act, her body was vanished once more.
As the swordsmen arrived to storm the Tower of Destruction, Luna conjured the spirits of Legeiel and Zooous to question Storious' intentions. Although he learnt that it was Luna, she called Storious a pitiful man and proclaimed that Touma was capable of creating new things that neither of them knew nothing about. This prompted the irritated Storious to cast Luna's apparition away. However, this doesn't deter Luna as she walks back to the Tower of Destruction to reach the top in order to reunite with Touma one last time.
Final Moments and Sacrifice

While Touma fought Storious, he still wasn't strong enough to defeat him. Luna reaches to the exhausted Touma and asks him to write a new story. Luna used the last of her abilities to sacrifice herself to perform a small ritual, manifesting Wonder Almighty. This allows Touma transforms into Kamen Rider Almighty Saber and with the help of Blades and Espada, to defeat Storious and save both Earth and Wonder World.
One year later, Luna's spirit later appeared in the Wonder World alongside the spirits of Tassel, the first Master Logos and his former Megid allies to greet Touma after he became the Wonder World's guardian. Luna wished Touma good luck as the Wonder World's guardian and allowed him to return with his friends, knowing that they will always protect it.
Personality
Luna is an innocent and joyful girl who enjoyed reading books and often worries about others before herself, especially when it comes to Touma Kamiyama. She is very independent and mature for her age with a very gentle heart. Luna has an unwavering trust towards Touma due to him upholding beliefs of keeping promises above all else. Thus, she kept believing that he'd come rescue one day and save the world from those who threaten Earth and Wonder World.
After being freed from her prison, Luna was informed her purpose as the "bridge between Earth and Wonder World". This caused her to undergo an identity crisis as she doesn't understand what kind of person she is. She expressed fears that if she reunites with Touma, it will be the end of his life, causing Luna to distanced herself from everyone and became depressed. It was after turning into an adult did Luna regain her trust towards Touma and believed he can change destiny. Seeing Touma's bravery inspired Luna to sacrifice herself in order to ensure humanity's stories will be protected.
