Biography
Prior life
Back when he was just a child, Will’s family adopted Danny and spend numerous times bonding with the latter throughout his childhood. Will eventually joins the US Marine as an Afghanistan veteran. He has a wife named Amy and they have an unnamed son.
Ambulance
Will arrives back in LA from serving in the military and failed to get answered by medical insurance agents since he needed money for Amy’s experimental cancer surgery and needed to look after his son. He visits Danny (now a criminal and a professional bank robber after following his father's footsteps) who invites him on a “job” that involves $32 million dollars worth of money at the LA Federal & Trust Bank.
Reluctant about this, Danny assures that he doing this for the family, Will agrees to join the heist. He sometimes informs Amy that he's interviewing for a new "job." The plan goes well until Officer Zach comes in to open for account and is held hostage by Danny. When his partner Officer Mark sees the situation from outside the bank, a shootout occurs between Danny's crew and the LAPD’s Special Investigation Section with most of the crew is down expect the Sharp brothers. Will and Danny tries to escape through a parking while still holding Zach as hostage. Danny and Zach has a brief scuffle which results in Will accidentally shooting the officer. Danny forces Will to escape and leave Zach.
Just as Will and Danny try to escape using the back of the back of the bank, the police has the whole building locked down, causing them to run back to the parking lot. He and Danny soon find out that there is an ambulance which has paramedic Camille “Cam” Thompson and her friend, Scott, on board driving in to the parking lot bringing in the injured Zach and head to the vehicle. They hijacked the ambulance with Danny forcing Scott out of the vehicle and Will wearing his uniform and driving the vehicle. The two brothers hide in an alleyway due to LAPD helicopters trying to spot them. As this happens, Cam tries to flee after using a fire extinguisher on Will, but Danny stops her. Shortly, Zach starts flatlining and Will also has Cam go back in the ambulance to save his life.
The Los Angeles Police Department and the Special Investigation Section led by Captain Monroe, sends police cars and helicopters to go after the brothers leading into a chase throughout LA. Cam gets Danny to help her use a defibrillator and Will to transfer some of his blood to Zach. Danny then calls his friend Castro and crime boss Papi, to help him and Will escape from the police in exchange for $8 million.
Zach then starts to bleed out and Cam gets help from her ex boyfriend, Colin, who is a doctor, and two trauma guys (Dr. Farcy and Dr. Resnick), to help her with Will assisting her as he's done this experience before in the military while Danny drives. During the operation, Zach unexpectedly wakes up and freaks out when he learns that Cam's hand is in his stomach but Will knocks him unconscious which resulted him being scolded by Danny. Cam is able to successfully perform the surgery using her clamp despite a ruptured spleen and losing contact with Colin and his other colleagues due to the laptop she used to FaceTime them ran out of battery.
Meanwhile, Captain Monroe, believing that Zach is dead and unaware that the surgery was a success, decides to move forward and prepares a SWAT team to wait for both Danny and Will to pass and kill them simultaneously despite knowing that Cam is still alive. However, Cam contacts FBI Agent Anson Clark, an old friend of Danny in college, that Zach is still alive and warns both Danny and Will about the snipers as she wants to keep the cop alive. They are able to outrun it despite taking a few hits as well as causing other cop cars to crash with their maneuvers. Danny, having had enough of Cam, attempts to kill her, causing the two brothers to fight, also monitored by the police. Anson also begins to be familiar with Will, having heard Cam say his name and finds out his involvement in the bank robbery. After the scuffle, Cam begins finding out Will’s marriage to Amy as he began video chatting her and their son, thinking that he had the job he got interviewed for. He also explains to Cam on Amy's situation and why he took part in Danny's bank heist. Will and Danny later partially reconcile and listen to music together to ease the tension.
The brothers head down to the Los Angeles River where Danny shoots at the helicopters chasing them. Will and Danny then drive on the opposite lane of the interstate, creating multiple accidents. They meet up with Castro and Roberto, Papi's son, to create ambulance decoys while Papi's men distract the police and FBI through mini guns while the brothers escape from them which results with Monroe fatally wounded and Roberto being shot by Mark after a scuffle. The brothers head to Papi's hideout. Papi, who is distraught of Roberto's death, demands the brothers leave Zach and Cam with them to deal with. Will refuses to cooperate and teams up with Danny to kill Papi and his crew. This gets the police's attention after hearing gunfire. In the chaos, Cam accidentally shoots Will using Zach's gun after mistaking him for a sniper who was going to kill them. Danny takes the ambulance to a hospital and orders Cam to save Will’s life just as she saved the cop as the police go after them more.
They arrived at the hospital. When Cam reveals that she was the one who shot Will, he gets enraged of this. Danny vows to kill Cam for Will's injuries along with himself on live television before confronting the police. Will, left with no other choice, reluctantly shoots Danny in the back to ensure to him what Cam did was an accident, thus saving her life. The police begin to pin him to the ground and arrest him next to the injured Danny as they are both handcuffed. Danny apologizes to Will for dragging him into the drama before he dies from his injuries, much to the sadness of Will as he is not only upset because he killed his adopted brother, but also the fact that he was also his best friend turned criminal. Amy, along with her and Will's son, arrive at the scene after being escorted by a cop and informed of Will's action. She begs someone to helped the injured Will and the police doesn't do anything due to Will's recent crimes, despite that the emergency room is right in front of them. After Cam informs Mark that Will helped her saved Zach life, he and the police uncuffs Will and takes in inside for a surgery while Cam secretly gives some of the heist money to Amy for her surgery. She also asks her to forgive him. While in a hospital bed, Will is visited by Amy and their son.
It is unknown what happened to him despite being arrested, but since he was able to kill Danny before surrendering himself, as well as that Officer Zach informed Agent Clark that Will saved his life, it can be implied he may have gotten a lesser prison sentence or gotten off with parole since he performed lesser crimes unlike Danny.
