Doctor or better The Doctor of Del Mar is a minor character in DreamWorks' 43rd full-length animated film Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
He was voiced by Anthony Mendez.
History
After Puss in Boots is crushed by a large bell, he wakes up in the doctor's office who informs him that he is dead. Initially Puss seems shocked, but then he laughs at the fact that he's a cat and cats have nine lives and he's brought back to life. However, the Doctor asks him how many times he has died before him, so Puss tells him about his previous experiences where he has already died eight times in a row and now has only one life left. The Doctor suggests that he retire to Mama Luna's Cat Rescue to live out the rest of his last life, Puss takes the ticket but refuses anyway saying that he will never retire. Puss leaves with the Doctor who gives him one last warning that death comes to all.
