Dulcinea is the deuteragonist in the Netflix exclusive TV Show The Adventures of Puss in Boots. She is a cat living in San Lorenzo and the second love interest of Puss in Boots.
She is voiced by Jayma Mays, who also played Lucy Pervertski in Epic Movie, Grace Winslow in the Smurf movies and Amy Anderson in Paul Blart: Mall cop.
Description
The most beautiful cat in San Lorenzo, Dulcinea teaches the kids at the orphanage. Dulcinea is smart and generous, and when she decides she's going to do something nothing could ever stop her. She is also kind, so nothing will sway her from her rosy view of the world. Dulcinea only sees the best in people and often her relentlessly positive opinion brings out the best in them. She is believed to be the true love of Puss In Boots.
History
Season 1
Dulcinea goes shopping in the thief market with her usual carelessness due to her poor knowledge of the world. Puss in Boots who was there in search of action, notices the young feline about to be robbed by the thieves until he intervenes. Dulcinea thanks Puss but when he offers to accompany her to her home for safety, she declines. Unbeknownst to him, Puss followed her to the secret entrance of San Lorenzo. Unfortunately, Puss takes a piece of San Lorenzo's treasure as a souvenir which destroys the city's protective fate, exposing them to the rest of the world. After repelling the first invaders, Puss suggests that the inhabitant leave the city as long as he can, but Dulcinea refuses to leave because she believes there is a way to recreate the spell. Puss was not convinced by her hope and chose to leave until Dulcinea succeeded in making him understand that the inhabitants of San Lorenzo needed him.
Dulcinea usually serves as emotional support and the voice of reason, often reciting a line from her favorite book that Puss never understands.

Dulcinea and Puss end up finding Sino and asks him for his help to save the world on the brink of destruction but unfortunately the mage is unable to save the world but he can however change the past, provided he finds the magic artifact , the Arcanum. They find it in the obelisk located under San Lorenzo but before it can take it, Dulcinea transforms into its Tulpa form and attacks Puss and Sino because its role as Tulpa is to protect the Arcanum and it cannot fought against that. Become more powerful, she misses to kill Puss but when he has the opportunity to finish her, he cannot be resolved because of his love for Dulcinea. Dulcinea takes the opportunity to hit him with a deadly magic ray, at this moment, Dulcinea regains her spirit but it is too late for Puss. After the magic of the Arcanum is not saved Puss, Dulcinea full of remorse for her involuntary actions, gives a kiss of love on Puss's cheek, which brings him back to life. With the Arcanum in their hands, Sino uses it to transport San Lorenzo to the shelter of the destruction of the earth before sending Puss in the past so that he never comes to San Lorenzo. Puss accepting his fate, says goodbye to Dulcinea and kisses her before disappearing. Saddened, Dulcinea asks Sino for a last favor.
Back at the time when it all started, Puss thinks one last time about all what he lived in San Lorenzo before turning his back on the hidden city to never come back again. At the thieves' market as he laments, Puss is surprised to see a time-shifted Dulcinea. The two cats then calop towards the horizon for new adventures.
