Teiwaz is a mafia-like business conglomerate in the Jupiter Sphere and a heroic faction in Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS.
It is comprised of multiple businesses joined together and has numerous corporate affiliates, making it Jupiter's biggest business conglomerate. It also controls several critical trade and smuggling routes through its subsidiary the Turbines and has endeavors in many businesses including heavy industry, manufacturing, construction, wholesale and retail trade, financing, medical care, education, agriculture, private military work, and transportation.
History
After joining up with the Turbines, Tekkadan traveled to the Jupiter Sphere to sign on as a Teiwaz subsidiary. After Tekkadan's leader Orga Itsuka underwent an initiation ritual, Tekkadan became an official subsidiary of Teiwaz.
Two years after Tekkadan made a name for themselves in Arbrau, they entered into an alliance with McGillis Fareed of the Gjallarhorn Seven Stars. This alliance granted Tekkadan and Teiwaz use of Gjallarhorn's trade routes, which had previously been off limits to them. Around this time the number two of Teiwaz, Jasley Donomikals, began scheming to solidify his power within the organization and set himself up as McMurdo Barriston's successor. Fearing his position was threatened due to Naze Turbine's close relationship with McMurdo, Jasley hatched a scheme to remove his rival for power. He began by forging an alliance with Iok Kujan of the Seven Stars to counter Naze and Tekkadan's alliance with McGillis. He then planted an illegal Dainsleif weapon on one of the Turbines' transports and tipped off Gjallarhorn about it so they could intercept it and use it as justification to declare the Turbines an illegal organization.
With the Turbines outlawed, Teiwaz had no choice but to cut ties with them. After Naze Turbine and Amida Arca were killed by Iok Kujan's fleet, Tekkadan withdrew from Teiwaz in order to go after Jasley and avenge Naze's death. Though Jasley had made an alliance with Iok to come help him, McMurdo cut a deal with Rustal Elion, supreme commander of the Arianrhod Fleet, to not speak of the incident with the Turbines in exchange for Iok not intervening in the battle between Tekkadan and Jasley's forces. Jasley was eventually captured and executed by Tekkadan as revenge for his role in Naze's death.
