Orga Itsuka is the deuteragonist of Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS. He is the leader of Tekkadan and the best friend of Mikazuki Augus.
He was originally just the leader of the Third Group of the Chryse Guard Security private military contractor, until he and the Third Group staged a mutiny against the adults of the organization and took it over, renaming it to "Tekkadan". Orga would go on to bolster Tekkadan's power by joining Teiwaz and making Tekkadan a Teiwaz subsidiary, forging strong ties with the Turbines led by Naze Turbine. Under Orga's leadership, Tekkadan would grow into a strong military organizations with branches on both Earth and Mars, and later ally with McGillis Fareed and assist him in his revolution against the Seven Stars of Gjallarhorn.
He is voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya in the original Japanese version and Johnny Yong Bosch in the English dub.
History
Orga met Mikazuki Augus while the two were living on the street and the two quickly became close friends, joining Chryse Guard Security at around the same time. Orga soon rose to become the leader of the CGS Third Group, comprised mainly of orphaned children and "Human Debris".
After the First Group left the Third Group behind to die in an assault by Gjallarhorn, Orga led the Third Group in a coup against the adults of the First Group to take control of the organization. After executing the First Group's leader and letting the rest go with severance pay, Orga took over CGS and renamed it to "Tekkadan". Tekkadan then continued with he mission CGS had originally been hired for to safely transport Kudelia Aina Bernstein to Earth.
Along the way, Tekkadan encountered the former owner of CGS, Maruba Arkay, who had joined up with the Turbines to take back his organization. However, Orga managed to cut a deal with Naze Turbine, leader of Turbines, to help Tekkadan become a Teiwaz subsidiary. Tekkadan thus traveled with the Turbines to the Jupiter Sphere where Teiwaz was based and Orga met with McMurdo Barriston to discuss signing on with Teiwaz. After going through an induction ceremony, Orga was able to get Tekkadan on the books as an official subsidiary of Teiwaz before continuing with the mission to escort Kudelia to Earth.
After fighting off Gjallarhorn's Outer Earth Orbit Regulatory Joint Fleet, Tekkadan arrived on Earth and proceeded to transport Kudelia to Edmonton, Arbrau, where the election to determine Arbrau's Prime Minister was being held. After fighting through the Gjallarhorn blockade around the city, Orga personally escorted Kudelia to the Arbrau government building with Atra Mixta, where she delivered a speech exposing Gjallarhorn's corruption and their support of Prime Minister candidate Henri Fleurs.
Following the incident, Tekkadan made a name for themselves and grew to be a much larger organization with branches on both Earth and Mars.
