Ride Mass is a child hero of Tekkadan and one of the heroes of Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS.
He is voiced by Mutsumi Tamura in the original Japanese version and by Amanda Céline Miller in the English dub.
History
Ride Mass was originally one of the youngest members of the Chryse Guard Security Third Group, which was comprised mainly of child soldiers and Human Debris. Following an attack by Gjallarhorn, Ride and the rest of the Third Group staged a revolt against the adults of the company and took it over, renaming it Tekkadan.
After McGillis Fareed and Tekkadan's revolt against Gjallarhorn failed and Gjallarhorn closed in on Tekkadan's Mars base, Ride and several other members of Tekkadan snuck out to make arrangements for the members of Tekkadan to go into hiding and assume new identities. After making a deal with Togonosuke Makanai to be smuggled to safety, Ride and Orga Itsuka were shot at outside of the Admoss Company building by thugs sent by Nobliss Gordon. Orga ultimately died shielding Ride from the bullets, while also picking off one of the grunts himself.
Several years after the McGillis Fareed incident ended and Rustal Elion reformed Gjallarhorn. Ride would avenge Orga's death by shooting and killing Nobliss while he was using a restroom stall. After firing on Nobliss in a rage, Ride had to be stopped by the other ex-Tekkadan members, who told him Nobliss was already dead and rushed off with him before someone came in and discovered the body.
