Stahn Aileron (スタン・エルロン, Sutan Eruron) is the main protagonist of Tales Of Destiny. He is a country boy who excels in swordsmanship. Stahn left his hometown for fame and fortune, but as fate decreed, was forced into a journey that would save the world. He is the master of the Swordian of Fire, Dymlos. They shared a bond of friendship and trust, although Dymlos is sometimes annoyed with Stahn's stupidity. Stahn is also the father of the game's sequel protagonist, Kyle Dunamis.
He is voiced by Tomokazu Seki in the Japanese version and Liam O'Brien in the English version.
Appearance
Stahn is a 19-year-old boy with long spiky blonde hair with a green headband that rests on his forehead. He possesses blue eyes and wears white armor with blue accents, gloves, and blue boots. Additionally, he is draped in a cape.
History
A 19-year-old adventurer who grows into a powerful sword-based physical fighter, Stahn was a country boy from the boondocks town of Liena, heading off to seek to provide for his family by enlisting as a knight. He stows away on a ship bound for the capital of Seinegald, which is promptly attacked by monsters, so he grabs the first weapon he can find... Which turns out to be a Swordian, an ancient and extremely powerful sentient sword, named Dymlos, who promptly accepts Stahn as his master. And so the Hot-Blooded hick goes on to discover a huge history of cover-ups and corruption in his quest to save the world.
In the sequel, he marries Rutee, and they have a son, Kyle.
Personality
This youth came from a different world with his trusted sword at his hip. Honest and good-natured to a fault, Stahn's kindness and optimism are a source of constant inspiration for his comrades. While he may occasionally appear absent-minded and lethargic, he possesses a brave spirit and a profound affection for his friends and family. Even in the wake of Leon's betrayal, Stahn maintains his view of Leon as a friend and expresses sorrow over his demise.
