Dingodile is a major character in the Crash Bandicoot video game series.
He is a genetically enhanced combination between a dingo and a crocodile with a heavy Australian accent. He was originally a villain who served the series main antagonist, Dr. Neo Cortex until he eventually retired from villainy to open his own diner.
He was voiced by the late William Hootkins in Crash Bandicoot: Warped, then by the late David Anthony Pizzuto in Crash Team Racing, then by Dwight Schultz in Crash Nitro Kart, then by Nolan North in Crash of the Titans, then by Fred Tatasciore in Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. In the Japanese dub of the games, he was voiced by Keisuke Ishida in Crash Bash.
History
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time
Sometime after the events of Warped, Dingodile seemingly lost his loyalties as one of Dr. Cortex's henchmen and retired from his villainous ways to open his own diner at Mosquito Marsh. However when his business competitor Papa Batfield managed to destroy his restaurant, Dingodile bared arms once more to get his revenge. He used his Vacuum Cannon to dismantle Papa Batfield's juice mixing vats and blow up his juice cellar before an interdimensional portal called a Quantum Rift suddenly pulled Dingodile into an alternate dimension. For much of the game, Dingodile attempts to return home while inadvertently helping Crash and Coco on their adventure through the multiverse.
Dingodile eventually ended up in Bermugula's Orbit where he decided to tag along with the bandicoots to defeat N. Tropy, and afterwards inquire about going back to his world. He is told that the Quantum Masks can only take him as far as Neon City in the Sn@xx Dimension until they have rested enough to send everyone home. Dingodile used his time in Neon City to grab a bite to eat with Tawna before his old boss Dr. Neo Cortex kidnapped Kupuna-Wa to travel back in time. He helped Crash and Coco go after the villain while he stayed in the Sn@xx Dimension until he was finally sent back to Mosquito Marsh where he rebuilt and reopened his diner.

Trivia
- Introduced in Warped as yet another of Cortex's evolved animal minions, Dingodile is proven to be considerably popular and has consistently made further appearances throughout the series as one of his top henchmen. Solidified in Crash 4: It's About Time, in which he is the very first of Cortex's minions to become playable in one of the main platformer games.
- While Dingodile originally speaks with an Australian accent, in the European Spanish dub of Warped and Crash Team Racing, he speaks with a Mexican accent. However, he doesn't speak with an accent in later appearances, not even in the remakes.
- According to his bio in the manual for The Wrath of Cortex, Dingodile's favorite hobbies are playing croquet and reading Shakespeare, and Twinsanity actually shows him reading. That and, of course, torching little animals and orange marsupials with his flamethrower.
