~ Cia |
Cia is one of the two main antagonists and a redeemed villainess of the spin-off game Hyrule Warriors and the dark half of Lana.
She is voiced by Minako Kotobuki, who also voiced her light half Lana.
Biography
Deep in the woods, far from mortal eyes, as the Guardian of Time, she was tasked to watch over the Triforce for ages. She had developed romantic feelings for the young hero Link and became jealous towards Princess Zelda. Later, Ganondorf corrupted her and moved the out the light (which has become Lana who born after her corruption) from her heart. While she was corrupted, she summoned monsters and waged war against Hyrule. After she was defeated by the Hyrulean Forces, she gets redeemed and comes back to her senses. She disappears with a smile on a face and gives Lana the Triforce of Power.
In the Wind Waker continuation of the story, Cia was revived, and Lana set out on a mission to find her. Sensing Cia's presence, Lana and her group discovered her at the Temple of Souls. Together, Link, Lana, King Daphnes, and Tetra fought against a doppelgänger that was draining Cia's power and ultimately defeated it. It was revealed that the entity stealing her power was Phantom Ganon. During the battle with Phantom Ganon, Cia was able to subdue the dark magic from her foes. After they defeated Phantom Ganon, Cia, Link, and Lana returned to Hyrule Castle to use the power of the Triforce to restore the land to its normal state.
Afterward, Cia sadly said goodbye to Link, Zelda, and Impa, while Lana waved happily to them. Both Lana and Cia then continued their roles as guardians of time, watching over the balance of the Triforce in peace and harmony.
Power and Skills
Cia wields her scepter which is a dark element weapon and can turn into a whip to lash her opponents. She uses powerful dark magic and can summon Dark Links to attack her foes.
Personality
Cia began as a jealous, malevolent, and obsessive sorceress. However, after her revival, she formed an alliance with Link and rediscovered her compassion. Additionally, she relinquished her romantic feelings for Link, recognizing his love for Zelda.
Appearance
Cia is a young woman with tanned skin and short silver hair styled with bangs on the right side, resembling Lana's hairstyle. She has striking purple and red eyes, adorned with black markings under her eyes. Cia wears a red ruby gem and a pearl in her bangs, similar to Lana's fringe, which features a blue sapphire gem and a pearl.
Her attire consists of a revealing black outfit that highlights her cleavage down to her navel. She complements her look with golden bracelets, orange feathers adorning her right shoulder, red designs on her legs, and black and gold boots. On her head, she sports a two-pointed hat paired with a mask which hides her face, which is subsequently destroyed by Midna. Midna observes that Cia's facial features are similar to those of Lana which points out the fact that Cia and Lana were once a single being. In the narrative of the Wind Waker arc, Cia is no longer seen wearing her pointed hat.
As the Guardian of Time, she has lavender hair, lighter skin, and purple eyes. She wears a less revealing white dress with a blue pendant around her neck, a bracelet with a purple gem on her right wrist, and lavender stockings with lavender boots.
