Biography
C-6 is an ancient archaeological exploration robot that was buried beneath the desert sands after a cave-in eighty years ago. Originally designed to investigate forgotten ruins, it retains a surprising degree of humanity in its programming: showing empathy and a willingness to sacrifice itself for others.
When Gohan, newly without his tail and wearing a fresh outfit, accidentally falls into an underground cavern, he awakens C-6 from its long slumber beneath the sand. Upon activation, the robot initially scolds the boy for disturbing its “rest,” but upon hearing Gohan’s cries and sensing his vulnerability, C-6 decides to watch over him. During their short time together, the robot reveals it lost its sight due to the collapse; Gohan, with his own hands, manages to repair C-6’s visual sensors, restoring its ability to see.
As they work together to dig a way out, the unstable cavern begins to collapse. In a final act of selflessness, C-6 uses all of its remaining battery power to launch Gohan to safety, sacrificing itself and becoming buried once more. Thanks to this noble gesture, the young boy returns to the surface, carrying with him the memory of a companion who, though mechanical, demonstrated courage and emotion as deeply human as any warrior.
