Akira Mado is a major character in the Tokyo Ghoul franchise. She is a Rank 2 Ghoul Investigator and daughter of Kureo Mado. She is currently partnered with Koutarou Amon, whom she has feelings for.

She is voiced by Asami Setō in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Morgan Garrett and Beth Lipton in the English version of the anime.

Overview

Akira is the daughter of Kureo Mado, and a Rank 2 Investigator assigned as Amon's second partner. She is highly talented and has keen intuition, but has a tendency to mess with people. While she initially blames Amon for the death of her father, she begins to develop feelings for him.

Power and Abilities

Like her father, Akira seems to have her own collection of quinques. Beyond that, she also finds interest in new quinques design or experimental weapon. She is also a capable fighter, though not in the level of that as her father. She shows expertise with firearms when she was able to snipe Haise Sasaki from a considerable amount of distance.
