Pirate

Pirate is a minion type.

The majority of Pirate cards fit a weapon theme and are most useful in decks that feature a lot of weapons. Pirates are associated with the rogue and warrior classes, although most Pirates and related cards are neutral.

Trivia

• Prior to Whispers of the Old Gods, Captain's Parrot was not craftable but had to be earned through collecting each Classic Pirate. The quest "Arrrrrr!!!" awarded 2 regular copies to the player upon collecting regular copies of all Classic Pirates, while "Golden Arrrrrr!!!" awarded 2 golden copies to the player upon collecting golden versions of the same Pirates. The accompanying patch removed the quests, and made Captain's Parrot craftable instead.
