Adam Kovic


Adam Kovic was a co-founder, editor, producer, and on-screen talent for Funhaus. He was best known as the straight man during gameplays who would play the game as Bruce and James would crack jokes.

Life

Kovic studied at the College of the Canyons, but eventually dropped out.[2][3]

In 2011, he married Jess after dating for over five years.[4]

Career

Adam worked for G4 from January 2007 to January 2008 as a production assistant, and started working at Machinima as a Managing Producer in Janauary 2007 as well. He would work at Machinima from 2007 to January 2015.[2]

Funhaus

At Funhaus, Adam would be a regular on-screen talent for gameplays, podcasts, and Comments Shows. Typically he would be the one playing the games showcases, and would oftentimes break them during the video.

Kovic was the Creative Director for Funhaus from January 2015 to October 2020, where he would work on many of the podcasts produced then.[2] Adam produced at least the first 99 episodes of the Comments Show, and advocated for it to take a break in 2018.[5] He would also be responsible for Funhaus TV.[6]

In 2019, Bruce would mention that prior to his departure that programming duties would be taken over by Adam as well as James, Elyse, and Omar.[7]

Non-Funhaus

Alongside other members of Funhaus, Adam would appear in several episodes of The Know and Let's Play in 2015 and 2016. He would also be a part of Let's Play Live.

Adam would appear in several videos across different channels in the Rooster Teeth Network, including episodes of Sugar Pine 7, and On The Spot.

In 2019, Adam alongside other Funhaus members would work on the newly acquired and rebooted Inside Gaming.[8]

After Funhaus

Adam Kovic left Funhaus in 2020 following a controversy surrounding leaked photos, and harrasment. Bruce Greene would state that he knew about his inappropriate behavior in 2019 but HR laughed off his report.[9][10]

Since then, Adam has had several producer positions at companies.[2] He would also write a book with Aaron Marquis called Rook.[11]

Trivia

  • He is known for having a 'depressed face' which he calls his rested face. It is likely this Face developed during his time in the Gulag.

  • He has made a cameo in at least 1 movie so far, that being The Girl Next Door.  This is where he had his first homoerotic encounter.
  • He has been known to really enjoy dead lifting.
  • Adam was once temporarily banned by Microsoft for playing Halo 4 early while he was reviewing it.[12]
