James Willems was a producer, editor, and on-screen talent for Funhaus. He is known for riffing on games and also finding every way possible to make jokes out of certain elements.
Life
James graduated with a Bachelors in Media Production and Creative Writing from UNC Chapel Hill.[2] He was born and raised in North Carolina but would move in 2006.[3]
He is married to Elyse Willems.
Career
James worked at Inside Gaming as a producer and content creator from February 2012 to December 2014. James was a founding member of Funhaus. Initially, he worked as the Lead Producer but was a Co-Creative Director from November 2019 until the channel's closure.[2]
Funhaus
James would be a regular co-host for Wheelhaus, and Demo Disk as well as podcasts, Comments Shows, and gameplays in general. He would write for many series on Funhuas. For example, he would be involved in the board game show Board as Hell as its creator, as well as a writer and producer for it. Similarly, he would also be involved in Arizona Circle as a writer, director, and cast.
In 2019, Bruce would mention that prior to his departure that programming duties would be taken over by James as well as Adam, Elyse, and Omar.[4]
Non-Funhaus
Alongside other members of Funhaus, James would appear in several episodes of The Know and Let's Play in 2015 and 2016.
James would appear in several videos across different channels in the Rooster Teeth Network such as The Rooster Teeth Podcast, and Sugar Pine 7.
He would also be a writer for IllFonic on Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed and Arcadegeddon.[2]
After Funhaus
James would host the game show Answer For It! several times at the Dynasty Typewriter during 2024.[5]
