The Spear is a Lance that appears across the Fire Emblem series. Like the Javelin, this lance permits its wielder to engage in both melee and ranged combat. In some games, the Spear also possesses a slight chance of inflicting a Critical hit.

  • In the chapter Unfulfilled Heart of The Blazing Blade, Vaida carries a unique Spear enhanced by Nergal's magic. This variant of the Spear grants bonuses of +17 HP, +5 Strength, +4 Skill, +9 Speed, +4 Defense, and +14 Resistance to its wielder. This particular variant of the weapon is colloquially referred to as the "Uberspear".
    • While she does not join with this variant of the weapon in Cog of Destiny, instead carrying an ordinary Spear at that point, it can be obtained using the Mine Glitch in Unfulfilled Heart by either trading it into the inventory of the Luna-carrying Shaman directly south of her starting location or, if she is close enough to Merlinus, directly inserted into the convoy.
    • This Spear reappears as her personal weapon in Heroes.
