Marado is a small territory under Daein suzerainty that appears in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.
Overview
Despite being a part of Daein, its ruling family did not support King Ashnard. Its ruler during the events of Path of Radiance, Lanvega, was once one of Daein's Great Four Riders, but despised the thought of serving under Ashnard so much that he left the military and retreated from court life. He kept Marado out of the Mad King's War, refusing to supply Ashnard with troops, and subsequently retired, allowing his daughter Fiona to take his place.
During the events of Radiant Dawn, Fiona rules Marado, and in the epilogue, is said to continue ruling the territory into her autumn years.
Stages 1 and 2 of Radiant Dawn Chapter 1-6 take place in Marado. Fiona joins Micaiah's forces following the chapter's conclusion.
