The Henbane River or Faith's Region is a region of Hope County, Montana in Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn. Located in the Southeast region of the map, it is presided over by Faith Seed, although she is never seen in physical form outside the prologue mission. Here, Faith's Angels manufacture the Bliss drug, from the flower of the same name. While hunting in this region, she can randomly appear and talk to the Deputy prior to her death.
The largest region in the entire county, the Henbane River is characterized by its drier flora as well as the presence of numerous caves and hot springs. It is crossed by the namesake river, thus offering the possibility of exploring a large part of it by sea. Bliss fields cover significant portions of the Henbane River, spreading hallucinogenic effects throughout the whole region.
As a result of the Collapse, much of the Henbane River has been wiped out and reduced to ashes. This includes everything located directly south of the river and east of the Moonflower Trailer Park, now a highly radiocative wasteland. The remnants of the region are eventually taken over by the Highwaymen, who made the Henbane River their main stronghold in Hope County.
Far Cry 5
The Resistance stronghold in this area is the Hope County Jail. Here, Virgil Minkler, along with Tracey, Sheriff Whitehorse, and Dr. Charles Lindsey, run the Cougars. Marshal Burke is initially controlled by Faith before being liberated by the Deputy.
When players enter this region, Dutch will warn them over the radio to stay away from the Bliss flowers. If the player is affected, the Deputy's vision will distort, and Faith has a chance to appear.
The Guns for Hire that reside in Faith's Region are Adelaide Drubman and Sharky Boshaw. A Fang For Hire, Peaches, can be recruited from Peaches' Taxidermy.
