Sylvester Tate is a deceased Fire Breathers recruit found inside Belching Betty in Appalachia.
Background
Sylvester Tate was a member of the Scorchslayers, a squad of Fire Breather recruits led by Maxine Ballard. During their final exam inside the Belching Betty mine, Sylvester was accused by Rita Wilcox of his fellow recruit' deaths by failing to cover their rear flank. This led to Maxine allowing him to abandon the mission but not without the threat that he would never be part of the squad again.[1]
Sylvester retreated back through the mine alone and died shortly after to the Scorched. His screams were heard by the squad mates he had abandoned.[2]
