De'Andre was a medic with the Responders in Appalachia prior to 2102.
Background
He was among a group of Responders who aided the residents of Harpers Ferry before the arrival of the Free States. Afterwards, he met Lydia, who found him cute and was inspired to volunteer at the town clinic by him.[1] They eventually started a relationship, with Lydia declaring that he'd "changed [her] life." She also informed him that Abigayle Singh allowed him to use her bunker to plan their anniversary.[2]
